1948 Ohio Art #158, Circus 8-pc Child’s Tin Tea Set (H-0822)
This is a rare and very desirable 8-pc child’s Tin Tea Set by Ohio Art known as “Circus” designed by Elaine Ends Hileman, famous artist of Ohio Art and the set includes the following:
1 Teapot, no lid 2” H, 4” W and 3” in diameter 1 Creamer 1.25” H, 2.5” W and 2” in diameter 1 Sugar bowl 1.25” H, 3”W and 2” in diameter 2 Cups 1.25“ H, 2.5” W and 2” in diameter 2 Plates 4” in diameter 1 Cake platter 5”W and 4” in diameter
This set is in good played with condition, with normal age wear, such as paint loss, surface rusts,etc as shown in photos. All cups are marked: Ohio Art Co., Bryan, O. USA, no. 158. The Housekeeping Toys Collectors Guide shows this set on page 185 and a 21-pc set is worth $225.00. This is a collectors item and not intended to be used or played with..
