1950s, Japan Blue Willow, 17-pc Large Size, Childs Tea Set (ZE0822)
This is a beautiful 17-pc child’s Blue Willow Tea and Dinner Set consisting of the following:
2-pc Teapot with lid 3in H and 4.25in W 2-pc Sugar bowl with lid 2.5in H and 3in W 1 Creamer 1.75in H, 2.25in W 4 Cups 1.25in, 2.75in W 4 Saucers 3.5in in diameter 4 Dinner Plates 4in in diameter
Most pieces are marked Made in Japan, except the 4 cups, probably because of the concave bottom plus one plate has no mark or erased marking. The teapot has a chip under its spout and the lid has been repaired,but the rest of the set is in very good vintage condition as shown in photos. Some pieces may have the usual manufacturing flaw such as bumps, indentation, splits, smears, discoloration, misprints, discoloration etc. common to this type of tea set. Package weight is about 3 lbs.
