These design are struck on standard alloy blanks and are finished with a thin layer of 24 karat gold to help replicate the appearance of this 1870 $3.00 gold coin. It is in mint condition as shown in photos and comes with a copy of the certification from the National Collectors Mint, Inc. Certified by Angela Marie Buchanan and Barry M. Goldwater, Jr.
