This is a beautiful and elegant 13-pc Gaudy or colorful Willow with Lithopane CupsTea Set consisting of the following:
2-pc Teapot with lid 5.5in H and 7.5in W 2-pc Sugar with lid 4in H and 5.5 W 1-pc Creamer 3in H and 4in W 4 Cups 2in H and 4.5in W 4 Saucers 5.25in in diameter
The teapot comes 3.5in drop wooden handle or probably made of wicker or bent wood. On the other hand the bottom of each cup has a lithopane image of a Japanese lady. It is marked: with temple symbol and Japan. The set is in very good vintage condition no chips or cracks as shown in photos. Package weight is about 5 lbs. This type of gaudy willow with a lithopane image of an Japanese lady at the bottom of each cup is very rare.
